You are probably familiar with the technical aspect of losing weight.
You will often hear from people who have never struggled with being overweight,
"Gee those fat people just need to eat less and exercise more." And
it sounds insensitive to you because it is. They just don't get it, don't know

The first thing is self image and feelings about yourself. Now if you
have been overweight for a while, it may be hard to imagine yourself as a thin
you and believe that you could actually achieve this. So we need to begin where
you are at.
And you are going to have to do this for your own reasons if you want
this to last. Imagine the things you would do differently if you were the
weight that you want to be. Imagine a lighter body, fitting into smaller
clothes, having more energy, and feel the contrast with how your body feels
right now.
The point is not to feel bad about yourself. The point is to find
something to inspire you to lose weight and keep it off. So, in a sense this
strategy is “lose weight while feeling good about yourself.” And we need to
find something exciting about losing weight. Common reasons for people wanting
to know how to lose pounds include wanting to look more attractive, wanting
more energy, health reasons, family reasons, wanting to be able to do more
outdoor activities, and other personal reasons and motivations.
The important thing is to find your own personal inspiration and
reasons. What would you love to do as a thinner you? How would that feel to be
a thinner you? What is the best way to lose weight fast? If it
would feel great, then keep that feeling and keep focusing on that. That is the
prize, and you focus on the prize rather than focusing on all the other stuff
like not eating junk food. You can’t run away from junk food because it will
always be there, chasing you. So you will have to be going toward something
that is very exciting to you, instead of running away from something.
And another way you can get to that thinner you that you are imagining,
is to find a way that you would love to eat better and exercise. Find healthy
foods that you can really enjoy, and find some kind of exercise that is fun for
you. So you are getting what you want in a way that you want. This in my answer
